- I Retired
in 2017 from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. I
had taught in the Computer Science Department in the
School of Engineering. Teaching computer science to
undergraduates has to be the most fun anyone could
legally experience! I taught programming classes in
C++, C#n networking and sometimes a class on Excel. I am
fairly fluent in Spanish, I read novels and can
converse on most topics in the language. I also take
an online advanced Spanish class weekly from a school
in Cuernavaca, MX. Also learning Italian. I am
currently doing some on-line tutoring through Varsity
tutors. I tutor Spanish I and II, C++, C# and
Excel. I like to do crossword puzzles, Jumble,
cryptograms and Sudoku.

and I will have been married for 61 years on July 8.
(we think it's going to work out! :-) ) We
raised three children and still live in the house we
bought in west Millcreek in 1967. I served in
the US Army (1962-1963). I worked 40 years at AMSCO
(now STERIS) in Information Systems. While I was
working at AMSCO, I attended Gannon at night,
eventually earning a BS in Marketing in 1971 and then
an MBA in 1975. In 1999, I left STERIS to teach full
time at Behrend. Per above, I retired in 2017.
In summer of 2005, I spent 12 days in Mexico, seven of
them living with a family in Quer taro. Currently, I
am working with Bob Schenker and some others
(see savethedate.htm). I have
been involved in some capacity in planning most of the
