- We moved to Austin almost 2 years ago. Our three children and two grandsons live nearby so I have been volunteering at the elementary school they attend and our daughter-in-"love" teaches. Our daughter also teaches at another school and I've been called on to help her from time to time.
- What I have done, etc
- Ted, an Oil City high school grad, and I married in 1961. We have lived in Pgh., Connecticut (Navy), Pgh., New Jersey, Houston, Kansas City, Bradenton, FL and now Austin (Cedar Park).
I have enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and the moves we have made. My life has revolved around Church life and volunteer activities involving the children when they were young. Now it's great to be doing the same thing with our grandsons..
I have had many part-time/temp jobs before working full time with Ted in our own employment service in Kansas City. As for travel, our moving from place to place and visiting family members has covered a lot of interesting miles and sites. Colorado (four corners), Florida Gulf beaches and the Texas Hill country are favorites, as is the "memory" of Presque Isle.
