What I have done, etc
I attended Cleveland Institue of Art after McDowell graduation. I transferred to Yale School of Art and Architecture where I received a BFA and MFA. I met John at Yale and after graduation in 1965 we both moved to New York City where we were married in 1966. After working on several projects together we formed our own design comapany in 1967 and enjoyed working in several design disciplines including corporate identity, exhibition design, film design and not-for-profit organizations. In 1977 after buying a weekend house in Kent, Connecticut I returned to school at New York University to study writing; eventually determining that playwriting was my genre. I continue to pursue my passion in the theater after having several plays produced Off-Off-Broadway and Off-Broadway. After 9/11 in 2001 we sold our NYC residence and moved full time to our country home in Connecticut. We continue to work while pursuing more personal projects and continue to love New York City where John still teaches at Parsons School of Design two days a week. I often accompany him on those days to scurry through museums and hang out in theaters, but am always happy to return to the country and indulge myself in the garden.
